There is unfortunately a hairline crack which runs from the bulb holder down one side which is a battle scar this amazing light has picked up over time

This is accessed by unscrewing the brass screw below the lightbulb holder which allows it to be lifted up to access the bulb inside

there may have been horse hair in them but I didn't get down below the soft padding layers and was therefore unable to tell

There is some discolouration around the base accumulated from where it's been stood in the past.
