Ancient Multi-Color Glass Beads, Afghanistan grossular Opening in the back for17" strand of ancient multi color glass beads from Afghanistan. Created over 2,000 years ago during the Roman Period, these Afghan beads are a mixture of purple, and oranges, a mix of shapes, beautifully graduated. Size ranges from 3mm diameter 7mm diameter. Fairly fragile beads, and so so rare!! These were traded along the Silk Road in ancient times, a treasure!
