It is the classic putty color both inside and out and is thick and heavy. Its glaze is still shiny on the outside as well as inside with some blackish marks and a small hairline crack which does not affect its function. The crock has lots of character and is in wonderful condition and still watertight it holds 7 1 2 cups of liquid. These crocks are
