Torabhaig Allt Gleann Batch Strength Mevushal Peated BourbonTorabhaig became the second distillery on the Isle of Skye, and the first since Talisker in 1830, to be granted a license to distill. Planning for the distillery began in 2002 and the first distillation took place in 2017. The distillery is located near the town of Teangue and some of the out buildings were built using stone from the Caisteal Chamuis (also known as Knock or Cnoc Castle) dating back to 1630 and Clan MacDonald.
