2005 Yarra Yarra Vineyard The Yarra Yarra 1.5L Magnum Veneto black-coloured and perfectly formed ShirazThe dry grown, organically farmed and vulnerable Yarra Yarra Cabernet Sauvignon is the quintessential quiet achiever. The fruit derives primarily from the mature, low vigour Sarahs Hill block. After traditional vinification, the wine is matured in new (50%) and seasoned French oak barriques for around 24 months. Intense blackcurrant, mulberry and cedar aromas, fine grained tannins, great concentration and underlying savoury oak typify the style.
