Lindores Thiron Lowland Single Malt Sale and a slightDistilling at Lindores Abbey began over a millennium ago, with the earliest written reference in Scotland to Scotch Whisky (or Aqua Vitae) appearing in the Exchequer Roll in 1494. In 2017, spirit started flowing once again from copper stills at Lindores Abbey Distillery, and the first single malt whisky was released in 2021.
