RARE Father Holding Dead Baby 1850s Post Mortem Daguerreotype Photo Union Case army Two original photos of GeorgeDaguerreotype of a distressed looking man holding an infant.. looking at the baby's hands and face, I believe it was deceased. The dag in a thermoplastic case with a Farm Boy climbing a tree design on its cover. The case clicks and stays closed, but has some edge and corner chips. The daguerreotype has a tarnish ring and one or two spots of corrosion, but is in overall very good antique condition and most of its original paper seals still remain. Note
