The covers of this art journal are 2 Lion's Paw scallop seashells. Nodipecten nodosus. This is a super unique item and it is extra special. I love making these. I hand made these, stitching them together with a needle and waxed nylon thread. Each signature has been cut by hand to conform to the individual curves of each half of the shell.
