2023 Giaconda Estate Vineyard Pinot Noir 750ml Grant Burge Sweat and sour cherriesCall it nostalgia but this pinot reminds me of the late blooming 1989 and the deliciously perfumed 1995, combined! A potpourri of rose petal, red summer berries, roasted beetroot with an overlay of oak smoke and peat sitting nicely in the background, alongside a lighter touch of stem influence. Beautifully controlled tannins, redolent red berries and the essential textural roundness completes the package. Absolutely delicious and moreish. Vintage:
