There are only 12 families living in the village which is access by a very recent dirt road that winds through the hills before arriving at the 222. Hai Zi Zhai village tea cultivation goes back about 120 years and there is both plantation and wild arbor tea growing in the area. Our pressing is made entirely from first flush of spring tea picked from 40 to 120 year
