Antique Miniature Painting Portrait of a Woman - Signed Gainsborough 3d Frame has light age-related wearThis little portrait was acquired with a group of daguerreotypes. Along one edge I can make out the name "Gainsborough", possibly with a single initial in front of it. I do not know much about miniature paintings and am happy to answer any questions. What I can tell you about this piece is that I can see brush strokes, and looking at it with my loupe it is does not pixelate or look like a modern print in any way.
