With an organic, from the Earth feel, this Gourd Vase fuses modernity with tradition. The gourd design is a form that Bens grandfather made as well. The curvature of the vase provides a lovely accent for the wood fired micro crystal growth. The Nebular Purple resulted from experimenting with cobalt glazes fired inside the wood kiln atmosphere. The slow cooling of the kiln creates
