A Sunday ordinary at Highgate mb-height 1945 Somerset House was designed by'A Sunday ordinary at Highgate', 1784. A waiter serving a crowd of diners at a table, spilling gravy over one of them while his attention is distracted by a woman with her child on his other side; there is more enthusiasm than daintiness in the eaters and a dog and cat are standing over a bone on the floor.
