Brooklyn Tweed Quarry "8mm" Talk over your project withMeet Quarry, big brother to Shelter and Loft, and the third member of the Brooklyn Tweed yarn family. When Brooklyn Tweed set out to create Quarry, they had in mind a chunky weight wool inspired by roving style yarns: light and lofty, but with a little more strength and stitch definition. At first glance it looks like a singles yarn, and appears fairly substantial in the skein. But in the hand, it's surprisingly light, soft, and almost feels felted.
