Rare Original Photo City Gates of St. Augustine by Florida Photographer Pierron tobacco The back is blankLate 1860s, c. 1870 CDV showing to boys and their horses, at the city gates of St. Augustine, Florida. A very rare scene by the pioneering Florida photographer George Pierron. Pierron was mostly known for his 1870s and 80s stereoviews of Florida, including Native Americans.. earlier CDVs by him are very hard to find. CDV is 4" x 2. 5" and in very good antique condition.
