Victorian 18k Gold Cat Charm french jet Ruby & DiamondDATE: Victorian, c. 1880 A golden cat (charm). The expression, form, and overall detailing, is fantastic it sits on its haunches with one paw outstretched. It's crafted in solid 18k gold and, although there's a sort of similarity, I don't think it's intended as a wearable Maneki neko. It dates from the latter half of the 19th century, circa 1880.
