ROBERT CORNELIUS Early Daguerreotype Little Girl Dau Wisconsin Rare 1840s Photo gift card not Robinson) in TexarkanaSixth plate daguerreotype of a little girl, identified with a note as Harriet H. Whitney age 3 yrs. According to records, Harriet was born in 1842, which if the note is correct, would mean this was taken in late 1845 or 1846. Daguerreotype is in Robert Cornelius's acorn case and behind original glass and a square rose (?) design mat. Harriet was the daughter of Emmeline Stillman Henshaw and Daniel Whitney, who was born in New Hampshire and had family
