The beautifully intricate engraving itself measures just 6. 5cm x 8cm and is mounted in an off white mount making its outside dimensions 26cm x 28. 5cm. Howard's wood engravings have been cut on the end grain of a block of very hard Boxwood using very fine tools. The final image is printed by hand using an Albion Press which was made in 1862.
