Looking Back Trees Vivid greens combined with theThis smaller landscape of the river Dart looking up river toward the Dartington Estate was drawn using natural found pigments on the banks of the river. Glimpses of these found pigments are seen in the drawing, capturing the essence of the season and place. Gestural mark making is counter balanced by blocks of russet red and cooler grey blues of the sky and the river. I have used this technique for many years and found that the freedom of adding found
