This stemmed flower motif is typical of the Hebron () area, one of the oldest continuously inhabited regions of Palestine, and in fact the world. Located about 30 kilometres south of Jerusalem, Hebron () is known for its hilly landscape and its vineyards and grapes. It is an area rich in cultural traditions and heritage.
