She is not identified, but this was part of a group of daguerreotypes that included a Southworth and Hawes dag of Alvin Adams (see my other listing), so it's very possible she was a relative, maybe one of his daughters. Dag is uncased behind mat and cover glass. Tarnish, and the underside of the glass is very dirty, but it appears to still be sealed and the overall condition of the plate looks to be very good or
