Teac in its earlier years used really bad steel plates in their recorders that were very easily bent or damaged

sold as a complete assembly as its easier to change out has the left and right knobs and the slider control

head block from a Fostex model 80

Teac Motor EM1513 Teac A-5300 Dia hole 6mmThis came from an A 5300 , in that machine there was two identical motors but one was screaming like terrible when running ,another works perfectly but there is no label on it thoughy phusically the same , it may have been replaced at some time. The units are marked like with old phillps numbers 9904 120 10603 (the duff one was 10801 , I looked for these numbers but found that now its been made by several companies using the original first 6 numbers.
