Ambrotype Southern Boy in Straw Holding Dog - Jack Russell Terrier? 1860 Photo pope Shipping: Ground (flat mailer withCirca 1860 ninth plate ruby ambrotype of a little boy in a straw hat holding his little dog. Out of a Virginia estate, and his clothes seem to be those of a Southerner. Comes in its original 1850s union case. The case is in overall very good antique condition, with one small corner chip. I scanned the side with the chip; the other side has the same design with no chip :) The ambrotype is behind mat and glass. There are some spots and a small abrasion
