ID'd SANTEE SIOUX Children 1890s South Dakota Photo Native American Rare sword as photo #2 shows (fromCabinet card, 6. 5" x 4. 25", Santee Sioux children, taken by Burnett in Springfield, South Dakota in the Spring of the year 1900. The kids are identified as members of the Garvie family of Santee, Nebraska, on the back of the cabinet card. They were the children of Reverend James Wilson Garvie and Anna Wikayawastewind Red Wing, who was a descendant of a noted Chief of that name. Their children were: Cordilia M Garvie 1884 1908 Steward Garvie 1886
