Ichiro's Malt Wine Wood Reserve Switzerland between the Rocky Mountain peaksIchiros 100% blended malts are sourced from two historic distilleries: the shuttered Hanyu distillery and the operational Chichibu distillery. Ichiro's Malt Wine Wood Reserve is a blend of malt whisky from both distilleries, then finished in Ovums egg shaped French oak red wine casks. These casks are produced in the Charentaise region of France and are mainly used to age Bordeaux. Ichiro derives its name from Ichiro Akuto, the owner founder of
