Korla Pandit - Merry Christmas Condition:New Following on from the unmitigatedKorla Pandit was the stage name for John Roland Redd, St. Louis born composer, organist, pianist and early television pioneer. Dubbed "The Godfather of Exotica," the turban topped Pandit created eerie background music for radio's occult adventure series, "Chandu the Magician" on his Hammond C 3 and Nova Chord organs. He was soon featured on his own television show, "Korla Pandit's Adventures in Music" which debuted in 1949 on KTLA in Los Angeles.
