The dress has the classic cheong sam styling that was westernized for Chinese tourists back in the 1930s mandarin collar, short sleeves, diagonal upper bodice opening accented with fabric fasteners. The dress is fitted to the body with a series of darts with a body conscious silhouette. The skirt has 6" side seam slits at the hem, also detailed with self fabric fasteners.
