Rothenberger (1833 1916), a prominent Leavenworth, Kansas pioneer who served as a councilman, acting Mayor sheriff and police chief of of the city. He also fought in the Civil War, First Kansas Infantry. He is buried at Mount Muncie Cemetery in Leavenworth County. Mount is 10" x 7". Photo was taken in the 1890s by Leavenworth photographer Bauer.
