The beautifully intricate engraving itself measures just 10cm x 10cm and is mounted in a white mount making its outside dimensions 29. 5cm x 29. 5cm. Howard's wood engravings have been cut on the end grain of a block of very hard Boxwood using very fine tools. The final image is printed by hand using an Albion Press which was made in 1862.
