Prince Frederick Louis of Wales, eldest son of George II Finish:Rolled Taken in isolation'Prince Frederick Louis of Wales, eldest son of George II', c1740s. Frederick, Prince of Wales (1707 1751) was the eldest son of George II and heir to the throne. He quarrelled constantly with his father, to the extent that George II considered possible means of bypassing him for the succession.
