I may have been finished with the painting on my easel, but I wasnt ready to move on from Paris. I wanted to create a complementary painting that could be hung together, or separately. Before I even started this painting, I knew that I had to capture Notre Dame before the fire. The striking cathedral is imposing and unavoidable
