La Muerte - - PIAS 40 Format:12-inch Single Neville BrandIt was in Brussels in 1983 that La Muerte was formed. Musically, the group quickly found it's place, being quickly compared to Birthday Party or The Stooges. They conveyed a substantial extreme image, 4 horsemen of the apocalypse, inspired by both the great classics of rock'n'roll and by genre cinema, from Salvator Dali to Kenneth Anger via Blake Edwards. La Muerte quickly became a cult band and a reference of Belgian underground rock.
