Fostex 8700 time code generator Lead from a Tascam TSR8I am not a big digital buff but as I understand this a is a time code generator to add code to a unit that does not have an internal clock. coder . it can be used with professional cameras and DSLRs and of course audio, seems to be battery operated though has an external socket for 9 15 volt . It has a 24 25 30 plus a DF setting I think thats FPS (frames per second?) Seems anything can slave to it, Thats all i can say, in original box in like new
