His SWR recording (dated 1951!) of the Dvorak violin concerto is released here for the first time. The recordings have been carefully remastered after the original SWR tapes. Born in 1900, Va Prhoda performed his first public concert at age 13, playing the 4th Violin Concerto by Mozart. At age 19 he joined the orchestra of the Caf Grand'Italia in Milan.
