Photographs taken by Riefenstahl between 1962 and 1969 of mostly the Mesakin and some of the Korongo, Nuba tribes in the southwest corner of the Nuba mountains in Kordofan of the Sudan in East Africa. At the time, there was no all season road through the region and the Nuba men and women, who generally went out and about without many clothes,
