This is fingering sock weight yarn; a fine, strong four ply base. These were kettle dyed a deep purple and washed with black and brown. There is a small amount of dark brown speckles on them. Though they share the same colours each is unique, please alternate hanks if using more than one in a project. A different base is pictured but it reasonably represents the colourway. Polwarth is
