The 20 year maturation under tropical conditions gives it a special aromatic depth in which you can really lose yourself. A special combination of vanilla, caramel and barrel notes with a slight sweetness characterize this fine rum. Panama is home to distilleries that produce a wide variety of rum styles from fruity, fresh white rums, as you would find in Cuba, to dark, mature and complex brandies.
