Tether Cable Thimble Marine Tensor Our team at Blue RoboticsThe Tether Cable Thimble is used to secure the tether to a strong point on your ROV. The tether wraps around the thimble and is secured with several zip ties. Why is that important? It allows any tension on the tether, including pulling it out of the water, to be carried directly into the ROV frame instead of though the cable penetrator or watertight enclosure.
