1/6 1850s Tintype Handsome Young Man - Gold Miner? NEFF's PATENT building of a lady sitting toSixth plate tintype behind mat and cover glass, in full case. At first I thought he might have been a sailor, but another collector messaged and said they strongly believed he was a miner. Tintype is in very good antique condition. When I opened it up to clean the underside of the glass I noticed it was a thick iron plate with something stamped along the bottom edge.. which I didn't examine closely but I assume it was Neff's Patent.
