Mid-century amber Corteccia glass chandelier in custom sizes Clessidra oval pendant lightWe are pleased to see that mid century Venetian lighting is enjoying a huge revival, garnering a new generation of devotees. This is a lovely modern day interpretation of a classic mid century chandelier design, crafted by hand using the corteccia or bark pattern. This pattern allows the bulbs to be concealed while still allowing for excellent light diffusion, and was first used by Venini and Veronese in the 1950s. A very similar original by Mazzega
