This is a very easy board to exchange just as all connections are via Molex plugs and 4 screws are all thats required to be undone when the case is off

There is no head block connector with the machine the wires are soldered in pairs on to a pcb that then leads off to the connector board. These heads have been sent away to be professionally relapped tested and polished with results coming back as "good lots of life life OK etc" and they err on the cautious side.
