This release was distilled at Caol Ila the largest distillery on Islay, then matured in a bourbon hogshead for 16 years. Bottled in August 2024 at a cask strength of 53. 4% abv this dram boasts notes of smoked mussels, dark chocolate and iodine. Theres a great maritime character to enjoy here too.
