Rare Father Holding Dead Child Antique Post Mortem Daguerreotype Photo Mourning angel is "doing" the State ofOriginal daguerreotype, sad father holding his deceased infant. The dag is ninth plate, measuring 3" x 2. 5" including the case. The case is missing its cover. The dag is behind mat and cover glass, but there are light scratches on the images; you can see them in my scan, though in person they don't seem nearly aren't as noticeable unless you're tilting the image around. 3120
