King George IV is shown as Bacchus and Lady Conyngham as Ariadne. Against the pedestal leans a portfolio which says 'Lady C's attitudes suppressed'. Lord Conyngham stands on the left, sprouting antlers. Lady Elizabeth Conyngham was one of the King's mistresses.
