Midcentury Chest of Drawers by Jiří Jiroutek for Interier Praha c.1960 pendants The makers-mark is engraved onA 1960s Ji Jiroutek for Interir Praha modernist chest of drawers. Model no. U 453. Made in the former Czechoslovakia. Model U 453 has associations with the EXPO 58 held in Brussels. Made from solid Beech with plywood and hardboard inside. The drawers have alternating coloured lacquered drawers of pale pink and blue with black angled handles. 8 drawers in total with 4 on each side. The chest is in very good vintage condition having been fully restored.
