Bristol steps at Templemeads Landscapes In this piece “ Tide”This mixed media work is from a sketch I made whilst in Bristol Templemeads. The steps, the sculpture and architecture intrigued me. I shall be using these drawings and mixed media to make large paintings of the city using bold colours and generous shapes one against another. The arrangement of colours and forms reflects the artists understanding of spatial relationships, offering a play of light and shadow without relying on literal interpretations.
