this looks like someone has gone over the soldering but its tidy and it goes wrong this panel

I have not gone for a mirror like finish or removed some deeper pitting as then they would look too new as originally they was matt a little

it has a set screw to lock into place on the tension arm shaft

Soundcraft Saturn 624 Papst capstan motor 9336520008 this looks like someone hasBeautiful motor tested and quiet though maybe long term you may want to change the ball bearings they are S6900ZZ and you need 2 I changed mine as was noisy these sit very quietly From a 624 Soundcraft Magnetics but I believe these to be the same on the 940 and 824 I do not know if this motor was used in any other machines or was a special just for the Saturn
