Mem (52) PERSONAL Printed in USAPrior to the publication of this volume, the Lejeuneaceae subfamily Ptychantoideae of Australia has been very poorly documented in the hepaticological literature, with some of the earliest work on the group being notable for its uncritical nature. This volume documents 30 species of Ptychanthoideae in Australia, 21 of them not previously reported from the continent. Keys are provided to all genera and species, and descriptions and illustrations are
