The glass is shown in the Kastrup Glassworks catalogue from 1910

Vinglas nr. 15 Karafler og kander Finely cut glass jug fromHeight 12. 5 cm. The glass is mouth blown with a spherical sand navel at the bottom. It is finely ground with a tongue cut around the cuppa and has an inverted baluster shaped stem with a clear mollex between the glass and the stem. The glass appears in Holmegaard's catalogue 1853, as "Wine glass no. 15". Later the shape of the glass is used as the basic shape for an entire glass series together with "Madera glass no. 9".
