The high and low bands offer the option to switch between bell curve or shelving behaviour. The units musicality is partly due to the proportional bandwidth (Q) behaviour for each band ranging from a smooth, wider slope Q at more subtle levels of boosting or cutting to a more aggressive, narrower slope at higher levels.
